Dan Caldwell is, quite literally, the “wheels on the ground” for Consortia. Responsible for creating new business opportunities and sustaining strong relationships with our very faithful client base, Dan necessarily spends much of his time travelling the Midwest. Dan loves working with managers and boards on strategic planning and organizational change and can frequently be found speaking at industry events and client gatherings. Over the past 20 years, his knowledge of the highways, hotels and local cuisine in our client service areas has skyrocketed.
When he is not on the road and visiting our clients, Dan is busy staying current on a seemingly perpetual list of industry issues and is a passionate advocate of our rural broadband clients in both the regulatory and legislative arenas. One doesn’t have to wonder how Dan became so passionate about this industry – he is a third-generation telecommunications professional following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. After more than 40 years in the industry, Dan still thoroughly enjoys our work and manages to maintain his sense of humor no matter what the regulators throw our way.
