Consortia is pleased to announce that Carissa Swenson has joined Consortia Consulting. Carissa is known in the industry for making complicated topics less confusing and has provided technology training to the staff and customers of rural telecom providers throughout the United States. She also produced an educational video series, TechTIME, that is being broadcast by numerous RLECs in various states and will continue to be available through Consortia. As our clients expand their offerings into the ever-changing world of broadband applications and services, we believe Carissa’s training experiences will become a welcome complement to their efforts to train staff, as well as educate both existing and prospective customers. Her experience in broadband technology training and public speaking will add depth to the Consortia staff, as well as provide Consortia with a North Dakota point of presence.
Carissa has Bachelor’s Degrees from Dickinson State University in both Business Administration and Business Education. She also earned her Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from St. Josephs University. Carissa and her husband, Douglas, live in the rural community of Halliday, ND where he helps run the family cattle ranch. Carissa and Doug have two sons, Dalton & Patton.
